The Pisa area has been famous since the 19th century for its landscapes that open up from Pisanmäki. Handsome lake and danger landscapes can be admired from the observation tower at the highest point of the hill of Pisa. At the top of the danger, you can also see the more than 400-year-old landmarks of the Peace of Täyssina carved into the rock. The area is well suited for a day trip. Pisa is a nationally valuable landscape area where the aim is to preserve old forests. The area also includes a protected 1.5 ha area owned by the Kuopio Friends of Nature Association. The nature reserve is also part of the coastal protection programme. [foogallery id=”312″]
